Soroti District has received motorcycles meant for LC 3 Chairpersons for Teso region.

Totally to 140 motorcycles were on Tuesday morning delivered to Soroti headquarters.

The Vice President of Uganda, and also the Woman MP for Katakwi district, Hon. Jessica Alupo will officially launch the handover of Motorcycles to Chairpersons three on 11th, May 2022 Wednesday morning at Mayor's Garden in Soroti City. Minister of Local Government Hon. Raphael Magezi, will be in attendance. All the districts of Teso representatives will converge at the Mayor's Garden, beginning at 8:00am for the ceremony.

PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni in 2009 pledged motorcycles for chairpersons of town councils, sub-counties and municipal divisions.

LC3 chairpersons will get motorcycles to enable them do their work effectively. From Communication.
